My favorite way to refresh... YOOT Herbal Tea
Hey Champions!
Welcome back! This week, I wanted to share with you guys a new tea that I recently tried that I have really, really enjoyed.
The past couple of weeks have been suppppper hot which means I turn to more than just water to hydrate myself. BUT, Starbucks teas can get tiring after a while, and are still loaded with sugar, even when you get them "unsweetened."
After thinking about it, over a venti passion tango iced tea (unsweetened) one day, I looked into herbal teas on the market, and found YOOT Tea.
Here some questions I asked myself that you might be wondering yourself right now:
1. Why herbal?
Personally, I wanted to try to cut down on the caffeine levels, too much of anything can hurt, and it's better in the long run for your sleeping patterns. So I was excited to see that YOOT was herbal and non-caffeinated.
2. What is YOOT?
YOOT tea are herbal teas made with grade-herbs that are gluten-free, un-cafeinated, organic teas infused with great ingredients that are AMAZING for your body, such as Rose Hips, Lemongrass, Ginger Root, Hibiscus flower, Dandelion root, and Chicory Roots....and that's not even all of the goods found in YOOT tea!
3. What can YOOT Tea do for me?
YOOT Tea ingredients are natural ways to increase one's energy and blood flow to muscles, helps to treat gastrointestinal and respiratory problems, offers antibacterial benefits, detoxification of the liver and bodily systems and prebiotic functions.
4. WELL... HOW DOES IT TASTE?!?!
SO YUMMY! I was surprised, mainly because even though all YOOT tea's are completely unsweetened, they each pack a unique kick with each of the flavors they provide. My favorite after tasting them all was the Dandelion root - the vanilla and spices really spoke to me, and to be completely honest, tastes just like an iced vanilla chai tea latte, without all the added sugars from your local coffee shop!
YOOT Tea comes in three delicious flavors!
1. Prickly ash tea - Soothing Prickly Ash Root & Herbal Tea infused with Rose Hips, Lemongrass, Ginger Root, and a dash of Pineapple.
2. Dandelion root tea - Refreshing Licorice Root Tea infused with Hibiscus Flower, Ginger Root, and barely sweetened with Monk Fruit.
3. Licorice root tea - Rich Dandelion Root Tea infused with Chicory Roots, Vanilla, and spiced with Cinnamon, Clove and Cardamom.
Pricklly ash is good for your "chi" (energy) and intestinal health.
Dandelion root is good for your respiratory health and breathing.
Dandelion root is good for your tummy - digestive health and healthy skin!
In conclusion, I really enjoyed the YOOT teas! You guys should definitely give them a try. Unsweetened, low carb and low calorie, with each one providing beneficial health factors while tasting refreshing and cool, they really stand up to the hype! It felt so good knowing I was drinking something really good for me that also tasted so good. Plus, because it was herbal, I loved having them as an afternoon treat and a little pick me up on long, hot days when I couldn't wait for the evenings when the weather would get cooler.
So make sure to check out YOOT Tea (click to be directed to their website!) and @yoottea on instagram! You can also buy them on Amazon HERE (who doesn't love some amazon shopping?!)
I hope you guys enjoy your bottle of YOOT Tea as much as I did - I know your body will sure appreciate it! :)
Until next week!
